Hi Yogis and Yoginis
Viv and Dan your hosts at Tara Casa would like to welcome you and your group leader Beth, to our lovely retreat Tara Casa. We want you to enjoy your stay, so please let us know if you need anything during your stay.
We supply mats and blocks and towels for pool and bathroom, so that saves you some luggage space.
We have well behaved rescue dogs here at the retreat but if anyone doesnt like dogs, or has any allergy to them, please let us know in advance. The dogs are not permitted in the guest area.
Your daily itinerary, subject to change according to activities will be:
Yoga with Beth on Saturday after arrival at 1.30 pm; a light lunch is offered at 3pm; dinner will be approximately 8pm
The following days will be 7.30am to 9.15 am Yoga with Beth – self serve brunch at 9.30am and Dinner served between 7.45 – 8pm
Sunday after Brunch, we have arranged an optional trip for you to the Port of Mazarron market, at 40 euros per person (lunch not included), we will take you to Antipodes – a restaurant overlooking the sea in a fishing village, where you can take lunch for between 5 and 20 euros – depending on choice and appetite. Then we will drive up the mountain to see a local place of interest, where rumour has it that the guns of Navarone was filmed. After this back to the retreat for dinner.
Tuesday, our therapist Suzie, will visit and will be offering massage treatments from 20 Euros. If enough people are interested then Suzie will offer a complimentary facial and hand treatment.
Wednesday free day– we are offering a trip to Cartagena, the local City,which is a naval Port and has a wonderful Marina, shops and restaurants. The trip will be 30 euros per person. Cartagena has many museums and places of interest but we can take you to the Roman Amphitheatre museum, if everyone is interested (entry fee not included in trip price). Then we will leave you to lunch and free time and collect you later in the afternoon.
For any other requirements such as a mosaic workshop please let us know.
The weather here is expected to be late 20’s early 30’s and the swimming pool has just about reached the right temperature for swimming.
