Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga with meditation and Yoga Nidra

Six days of dynamic morning yoga and four afternoons of workshops, restorative yoga, relaxation and meditation.

Hatha yoga simply means any style of yoga that includes asana (the physical postures that yoga is mostly known for). Most styles of yoga practiced today are forms of Hatha yoga. However, in the West, Hatha yoga is used as a general term to describe a more gentle, flowing type of yoga that can vary dramatically from one teacher to the next as it is always interpreted differently. It is often a good place to start when discovering different forms of yoga and can include relaxation, meditation, and chanting as well as asana.

Vinyasa Yoga means a flowing form of yoga which tends to be more dynamic as students move from one posture to the next, moving with the breath. Developing out of the Ashtanga tradition, Vinyasa styles can vary depending on the teacher and are often used as a fun and creative way to develop and strengthen your practice.


The afternoons in Spain are going to be hot, which means this is a perfect time to allow the body to soften and relax. Restorative yoga is a form of relaxation where the body is completely supported, usually in supine postures, allowing healing to occur and the body to open in a gentle way. It is a great way to prepare the body for relaxation and meditation.

We will explore different practices of relaxation and meditation over the week and this will include yoga nidra. Yoga nidra is a guided form of meditation which is designed to take the body to the edge of sleep (without falling asleep), allowing healing to occur on a deep cellular level. Sleep often happens, and like all traditions, yoga nidra takes practice but over time, this can become a very powerful meditation.

Both weeks are open to all levels of practitioners.
There are lots of activities in the local area that you can enjoy in your free time, as well as treatments offered on site.

The Teachers…

Eliane is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher, an Ashtanga Mysore teacher and a senior teacher with the Yoga Alliance. With over 14 years of teaching experience. Eliane is a passionate and versatile teacher and is dedicated to providing Yoga that is accessible to everyone. Her classes range from Ashtanga and Hot Power Yoga to Gentle Yoga and Yoga for people with special needs.
Eliane teaches regular workshops, retreats and a Foundation Teacher Training course for the British Wheel of Yoga.

Suzi is also a British Wheel of Yoga teacher. Having practiced yoga from a young age, she trained alongside Eliane in Ashtanga and teaches different styles such as Hot Power Flow, Ashtanga, Hatha and Gentle Yoga. Suzi is passionate in helping people to discover which style of yoga suits them and developing their own personal practice.

Suzi and Elly have been training and teaching together for over 10 years. Initially, Suzi was Elly’s student, and then progressed as a teacher. Their close relationship makes them an excellent teaching team. They are both dedicated to providing high quality teaching and have high expectations of their students.
